Monday 29th June

Good Morning Butterflies!

Thank you so much for all your hard work this week, both in-school and at home.  We made the best of the beautiful weather last week and had lots of fun with water play and bubbles.  We also went to play in the woods and gardens where it was much cooler.

Have a look at these photos to see what your friends have been doing.

We are beginning the week with a new story.

A Squash and a Squeeze

The old lady complains that her house is too small and that it is "a squash and a squeeze".

The words in the title of this story both begin with "s"- squash and squeeze. Can you think of any other words that begin with an s?

Can you go for a hunt around your house and find as many things as you can, that begin with "s"?

Where Do Farm Animals Live?

Now usually pigs, goats and hens do not live in a house!

Find the sheets and cut out the pictures of the animals. Can you stick the animal in the correct home?

House making

The Little Old Lady lived in a house.Have a go at making your own house. You can use a juice carton, a toilet roll tube or your lego.

This week we are going to listen to some of your favourite rhymes but I think these versions will make you smile!

Hickory Dickory Dock

Have a fun filled day and look out for your next home learning packs!
