Good morning Year 3!
We hope you all enjoyed yesterday's tasks.
In today's English lesson, you will be reflecting on your year in year 3!
Online option: Using the template shown below as a guide, answer the questions on the 'Friday English' blog.
In this lesson, you will learn about problem solving with multiplication and division.
Activity 1 – Follow the BBC lesson using this link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhvbrj6 Watch the videos and read the explanations.
Activity 2 – Complete the questions on the worksheet shown in the 'practice' section of the online lesson. Comment on the year 3 blog to let us know how you got on with it.
Activity 3 – Have a go at playing the game shown in activity 2 of the 'practice' section. Complete the training and then select 'Mysterious Mountains of Multiplication' and 'Dark Tower of Division' for some multiplication and division problems.
Activity 4 – Leave a comment on the reflection blog on Purple Mash to tell us how you have found your maths learning this week.
Activity 1 – Practice the 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12 times tables using your multiplication card at home. You can do this by saying them out loud or writing the times tables down. You can also ask an adult at home to test you to see how well you know them!
Activity 2 - Complete the questions shown on the worksheet below. You need to download the files to see the questions. You can write your answers on paper.
Activity 3 – Write a reflection comment on paper at home to tell us how you have found your maths learning this week.
Go through the slides below with the French animals. Practice saying each animal name in French. There is also a matching activity you can complete.
Online option: On the 'Friday French' blog, share with us what animals you have learnt about.
